How do customers cancel subscription?

I have tried to search the forum, but could not find an exact answer to this. Can a customer cancel their subscription from their account on my site, so they are moved back to level 0 after their current term ends? How can I set this up. I do not need them to be able to change to other levels, just cancel their membership.

Hello Kati, thanks for your inquiry. Yes, it is possible to simply cancel a membership. You can create the necessary button under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons -› Subscr. Cancellation Buttons, please notice that this would cancel any current billing, if he paid with a buy now button, this wouldn’t work. I have setup “check out with paypal” buttons. I have set it up as subscription, then it works with that button?

Thanks for the follow-up. If it’s a subscription, in other words, a recurring payment, then it should work correctly. Hope this helps. :)
