how do you sell digital products and hosting?

I’m using s2member to sell memberships. Each membership gets access to all digital products from a one-time payment. Access renewal is annual.

I want to add hosting plans to my site (s2member is compatible with multi-site), but separately. I don’t want people signing up for hosting to get access to my digital products and I don’t want the current members to get access to my hosting service.

What is the ideal way to solve this problem with s2member?

Limiting the display of download links by age of membership (show download link only if member account is this old) will not work. Both accounts, one who paid for $40 of digital products and another who paid for $5 hosting plan could have the same account age.

I’m very sorry for the delay in response.

s2Member is not capable of keeping track of multiple subscriptions at once. So providing separate services with one installation of s2Member is tricky. If you have Users sign up for two services, if they cancel their subscription for one service, they’ll lose service for both. So I’d recommend setting up a subdomain site and set up another installation separate from this one to run your hosting.
