Change msg that appears aftr new acct created

I want to change the message that appears after a subscriber creates a new account. The message is “Registration complete. Please check your e-mail.” and I did a search and found it in translations.inc.php.

Is there an add_filter() or add_action() I can put in my mu_plugins/functions.php file to override your message?
