How to Keep the Login Redirect Page Unrestric

Hello, is there any way to have the custom redirect URL after login NOT become restricted? I would like to redirect back to an index page (open to the world) of content (some of which is restricted). If I set a special redirection URL to said index page that URL becomes restricted for visitors also. How can I avoid that? Thanks for making this plugin. Its really nice.
