Hey guys and gals …. anyone setup their s2member to allow new members to get an assigned coach (human) to support them or interact via the s2membership software?

Love to know how you did it, do it, handle it!

THanks

Kenn

Hello Kenn,

You mean like a support system using s2Member?

Hi Eduan, thanks for asking ….

Imagine you run a nutrition business and you were
to join my membership site which is titled, “Nutrition Business Support”
and by joining you get:

* Articles to grow your business
* Webinars to learn more about marketing
* A designated coach to work with you via the site to keep you progressing.

I’m trying to find a slick, simple way to offer that 3rd point
via S2Memeber.

BuddyPress is one idea I have at the moment.

ANy other ideas on this? Other plugins or “ways” to do it?

Love to see what you think, or others think.

Regarding buddypress … it may be overkill … don’t need a social networking site kind of thing, but simply a way for a member to have a direct discussion with another member (who will be a coach), and track that conversation via the membership site.

Maybe two members can email each other already thru s2member/wordpress?

I see… Certainly BuddyPress is overkill for that. But s2Member alone isn’t enough…

Will these conversations have to be private or not? If they aren’t then you could just use something like bbPress or another forum system…

Essentially, a new member gets assigned a coach and they just have a two-way communication between them by messaging system.

I see. Yeah that is not possible with s2member alone.

There’s probably some plugin that allows chatting somehow, probably through some other API or something…

I’m sorry I can’t provide much help. :/

No problem Eduan.

I just check out bbpress – nice tool, clean.

Something like that which allows “users to email each other” would be super.

Really all I want is a clean way to have users email each other privately.

Hmmm …. I’ll research. If some idea pops up, thanks for letting me know.

While I’m at it … a recommended “support ticket” plugin/tool that’s great wth s2?

I’m not aware of one either sadly. Since these forums are our support system. :)
