We are using S2 to manage membership access on our cycling club website. New registrations get ‘basic’ level access by default. When we’ve verified the registrant is a club member we upgrade them to ‘member’ status and send out a welcome email.

All works fine, except the welcome email is currently sent manually. Is there a way to trigger it automatically? i.e. when the membership level is changed to ‘member’, automatically send out email to that member. Don’t need to personalise the message – stock text would do.

Thanks for any suggestions.

– Scott.

Hi Scott.

What comes to mind to do that would be integrating with a service like AWeber or MailChimp and create a list for the level you’re upgrading them to, and the first email in that list’s sequence be the Welcome one. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / List Servers[/hilite]

I hope that helps. :)
