Recently my site was hacked,so I asked the Hosting company for help.The backup was uploaded by my host and the site is working again. There was a problem with the s2member and I wanted to uninstall it and reinstall with Pro version so I can use Alipay.

I’m wondering,if I email all the users to myself,then select NO for the security setting preventing wiping s2member off the computer,I should be able to uninstall s2member and reinstall the latest version. Is this correct ,thanks for your help, Peter

Hi Peter.

Yes, you can remove the s2Member folders and upload them again without losing the s2Member data if you have the Deactivation Safeguards enabled. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Deactivation Safeguards[/hilite]
