I deleted a member and now content is missing

I had a site built by a programmer using wordpress.org. It is a membership subscription based site. Members are signed up using S2member.
Long story short… I just deleted a member who was also the original programmer. Before deleting a box popped up and said that any of this persons posts would also be deleted. I didn’t think that meant programming and original content of the site. When I deleted this person it caused all kinds of problems.
Pages of my site were deleted, the entire page to create and account and type in your credit card info is now blank. It also scrambled around the layout of the site ie. bottom footers and side widgets. There are also pages that had some original content deleted. A video that one on a page is also missing.
I contacted my hosting company and they were able to help a little.
Content along with the video are still missing. There is no signup area to become a new member or input credit card info. I also see this code on one of the pages.

Although this question is not really fit for these forums, since it’s not related to s2Member (from what I can see), I will still try to help. :)

First, do you have a backup of your website before this user was deleted? If yes, then all you have to do is restore that backup and you’re all done. :)

If you don’t have a backup, then I’m afraid the easiest thing to do would be to start from zero, at least in my opinion.

Thanks for getting back to me. I have already taken that step. It fixed some of the items such as the look of the site. However, some content is still missing along with my signup sheet from S2member.

I see… Did you also restore a backup of your database? Not just the files?

Yes and I even imported the most up to date file before the problem happened. I am trying to figure out which registration form my site is using but it is hard to figure out. I need to find out where I can copy the registration form code and where to paste it in my wordpress dashboard.

I see. Well with all these changes maybe it’s not strange the form is not working anymore.

You can generate new forms under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms if that’s what you’re looking for. :)
