Hello Hamasaka,

Your second thought would be much easier, yes. :)

However I will answer the first one. You will need to do an immense amount of custom coding I think. You can’t do it with s2member by default I’m pretty sure.

Basically you would need to create a page for each member, and each page will have it’s own custom capability with the name of the user, and each user will have that custom capability.

P.S.: I don’t know anymore, but I did call you by your name right? Not by your family name? I just get confused because sometimes they switch it around. I do know that Japanese put their lastname first. :)

Thanks for the reply, Eduan.

Actually you called me by my last name. Hehe. But that’s ok.

I’ll see what I can do with what I have. Thanks for your input.

No problem. Sorry for the name (see what I mean? If you switch it around we get confused, although what you did now is better). :)

Hi Eduan –
I’m looking to do only half of what Tate is asking about.
I don’t want to have the subscriber upload custom content, however
I want each subscriber to receive a private, customized document that I send to them.

Is that feasible?

If not, do you know of an alternative service that would allow that type of content management?

Thanks

Mark

Hello Mark,

In order to achieve this with s2Member you need to send the content to each member manually, you can’t do this by default with s2Member.

And I’m afraid I’m not familiar with other membership management plugins, except s2Member.
