I installed the short code for Free Registration (no Paypal, etc) for my new site. The short code displays the registration form on my membership options page, but I also get this error:

Input error: k: Format of site key was invalid

This is below the last input box (Username). There is a line that says “Security Code” with a solid line under it. Beneath that line there is the above error code.

Below that there is a line that says Complete Registration, followed by solid line with a down arrow image just above it, and below the line is the Submit Form button.

If I fill out the form and click the button, I get a “Missing or Invalid Security Code. Please try again” error.

I checked the security key against my records, and it matches.

I have two sites at BlueHost, and I cloned this one from another one after I had generated the key. Could this be the problem? If so, will I have to redo my sites to make them work? The original site will never be taking money, so I could disable s2member on it, if necessary.

Thanks for your help.

Your account is set up with an Unlimited Site license, and disabling s2Member on one site is not going to help.

Could you provide us with a Dashboard login so we can take a look, please?
