Insanely long request URI

But I absolutely fail to see why s2member would need a 8764 character request URI.

There must be a better way than forcing people to go through the hassle of reconfiguring a core Apache limit that is often set at a default limit of 8190 bytes, which is approximately 4079 characters http://stackoverflow.com/a/4829633/464385.

I really don’t see the necessity of this many characters.
