Hello, I have read a few other, now closed, posts about this but I am still wondering if there might be a practical solution for this somewhere. Everyone who posts about it seems to be trying to do the same thing so I wont go over it all again. s2Member fills that gap and does lots of other things I need too. As far as I can see it comes down to getting WPJobBoard to assign one s2Member membership level to employers and a different one to candidates. Then we can use s2Member to look after who can access what, and for how much, easily. I have asked the WPJobBoard Support Team if this is possible. The other way would be to get s2Member to assign roles to employers and candidates in the way WPJB wants. In WPJobboard both employers and candidates are registered as Subscribers (the difference between them is that employer has meta field is_employer set to 1). Is there a way to do this at all? How a about adding a field to the s2Member registration form for members to choose which type they are (employer/subscriber) and that assigns the correct value to the meta field as WPJB requires? I know almost nothing about coding so I thinking only thinking on a front end user level. Hope I am not talking too much nonsense! Thanks in advance for any suggestions or comments. Regards, Mike |
