Dear S2Member, We’ve been using S3>JWP sound files and S3>PDF downloads successfully for a few months now. However, over the past month, the occurrence of files being “not found”, unable to download, etc, has been increasing in regularity. The JW Player interface is showing correctly, so we do not believe it is a JW Player problem. We have not changed our coding since we started using S2 Member. We are simply copy-paste-ing the codes as always. But clients are now experiencing that from some products that have multiple file downloads, only half of them are downloading successfully, and only half of the sound files are playing successfully through JWP. It feels like the files are only getting accessed based on luck. Additionally, several of our team members have been able to replicate and witness the same exact problem in our office. Which leads me to believe that there is some communication issue happening between S2Member and S3. Is there any likelihood that the following can happen between S2 Member and S3: an outage, a miscommunication, a time-out failure, unable to verify access key, any other? We don’t understand programming so we’re unable to “debug” this issue, but we would appreciate some explanation of when and how to expect such service outages, or whatever it is that is happening. Thank you in advance for your attention. |
