Is Paypal Advanced like Paypal Pro?

Paypal changed its terminology and S2 Member refers to Paypal things differently than Paypal does. So, my question is: Is Paypal Advanced the same as Paypal Pro as far as S2 Member integration is concerned? I ask because Paypal Advanced used to be called Payments Pro or something similar. There is no mention of Paypal Advanced in any S2 documentation that I could find. I do not need offline credit card acceptance capabilities, so would rather pay $5/month for Paypal Advanced than $30/month for Paypal Pro if S2 Member treats both the same. In other words, can I use S2 Member Paypal Pro Forms with Paypal Advanced? Or do I need to sign up for Paypal Payments Pro? Thanks!

Hi David. No, PayPal Advanced is not the same as PayPal Pro, and s2Member doesn’t integrate with it yet. Jason has it in the to-do list for the new generation fo s2Member, as far as I know, though.
