Javascripts equivalent of API constants.

Hello,I am trying to use the S2member API constants in my js file to fetch the details of logged in user.
I found the following code in the plugin documentation file ,to add constants in js:

document.write(S2MEMBER_CURRENT_USER_DISPLAY_NAME);

However,i get an error as 

Uncaught ReferenceError: S2MEMBER_CURRENT_USER_DISPLAY_NAME  is not defined.

I have tried to find the solution over the forum but couldn’t find any.
