Levels and categories

I have a site with different categories, that are under lvl 1 and 2. I also have a category named featured, that is free material If i choose my regular categories, and also featured, who is free. Will this override the otheres? Or do i need to place my articles just under featured to have them as free material?

If i choose my regular categories, and also featured, who is free. Will this override the otheres? Or do i need to place my articles just under featured to have them as free material? s2Member® will check ALL of the Category Restrictions, and a User/Member must satisfy all of them. Therefore, if you have a Post inside both the free and protected Categories, that Post will require Membership; simply because it also exists in a protected Category. Or do i need to place my articles just under featured to have them as free material? Correct.
