Hi there,

Let say I have 50 members, and each of them will have their own pages which contain some unique data.

Is it possible to limit their access so users can only see their page and won’t be able to see other members pages.

They will only need to view the page, only the admin will do any required changes on the member’s page.
I’m going to create table data for each member, so I’m looking for a plugin that can restrict the pages access.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Yes. You can give each of these Users a Custom Capability for their Username, and create Posts/Pages protected with those Custom Capabilities. You’ll need to do this manually for each User, however. Are you needing this to be automated?

Hi Bruce,

Yes, I’ll be needing a plugin that can do the page limitation access.
I don’t mind to do it manually for each user, but if s2 has the easy way to do it, then it’ll be great as well.

Thanks.

s2Member doesn’t have any processes like this, but you could have a developer do this for you using the WordPress function wp_insert_post() and s2Member’s Advanced PHP Conditionals, as well as information from this KB Article:

Knowledge Base » Changing Roles/Capabilities via PHP

Can I still use this plugin if it’s not automated?

Yes, s2Member makes it possible, it’ll just take some custom code to put it all together, as it’s currently not possible to get it automated without something custom set up for you.
