Linking promotion codes to subscribers

Does s2 member allow for a fast/easy way to match promotion codes against those that subscribe? (ie how many people used that code?) The guy that installed s2 for us says it can’t do that, you can only track it by the discount % that was on the promotion. This makes no sense as it limits you from knowing what specific promotion was effective ! Someone please tell me s2 is able to track by promotion code! Thx, REG
