I’m having the same problem as Jeremy – I want my members to be able to come along to the site, click on the LOGIN page and be asked to enter their login details to access the content on that page.
I’ve been through the help files and confusion around this seems to be a common issue – I get the redirect thing that comes from the link in the email when folks sign up but I want them to be able to SIGN IN directly through my LOGIN page.
How do I do this?
http://www.prioritiseyourpleasure.com
The only solution I can come up with so far is to set up a REDIRECT from the login page URL that goes to yourdomain.com/wp-login.php
Will this do this trick?
(later…) Yes – it did the trick, smiley face :)
NEXT ISSUE
I’m using the following details:
Register for an account
http://www.prioritiseyourpleasure.com/wp-login.php?action=register
Login:
http://www.prioritiseyourpleasure.com/wp-login.php
The login is not working to the members only area :(
I can see it flicking through the URLs to get into the “http://www.prioritiseyourpleasure.com/members-area” which is where my content is set up but it keeps coming back to the same wp-login.php page.
Please help!
