Login users from a different site

Hi there. I am using S2member to protect some content on Site A. In Site B I have created a plugin so that the logins for site A are stored with the user account. My question is. Does S2member (or the pro upgrade) allow me to send the username / password along with a request and then automatically log a user into site A? Perhaps the Remote API that I’ve read a little about can do this? Peter
