Making required field mandatory

Thanks for this useful and great plugin. I have one question though. I have added additional registration fields and have made them “required”. But it appears that users can register even if these fields are left empty. Is there a way to make those fields mandatory so that no registration is possible if required fields are empty (as it works on the registration page for this forum)?

Actually I could achieve this by installing another additional plugin “register pie”. But actually I would prefer a single plugin solution to avoid any possible conflicts in the future.

Is there any way to check if all required fields are filled in before registration is accepted?
