If we have 2 paid membership levels and manually move someone from 1 level to the next, does the system automatically bill them the changed amount? If so, is it at the next billing (ie., monthly recurring in our case). And is there a way for the member to upgrade their account themselves?

Hello Brian,

No, in this kind of case s2Member will not automatically update the user’s subscription AFAIR.

In order to change levels the user will have to use a modification button, which will automatically change the user’s subscriptions to whatever applies. Check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Billing Modification Forms for pro-forms or under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons -› Subscr. Modification Buttons for buttons. :)
