Hi Guys

All of a sudden for the last week or so, we are having some problems.

One scenario is this, an expired member renewed his subscription, payment went through, Paypal emails received but his status remained as a subscriber.

Another scenario is this, a new member paid, we both received the Paypal email invoice but nothing else was generated. Both scenarios have occurred a few times.

Apart from the normal wp updates that come through, no changes have been made to our site.

Any thoughts?

Yes, we are having the same problem. Almost all of our new users PAY, then do not get upgraded to Memeber Level 1. We have had several people cancel, as they are frustrated not to receive immediate access to our restricted content.

I am very happy with the S2Member platform so far, but must admit, the support system is far to difficult to search through the forums when I need IMMEDIATE help with my specific problem. My customers cannot wait. I have searched the forums, but cannot find a simple solution to this.

I hope we can get some real help soon!

I suspected that it might have been the latest total cache update. I had a look and somehow total cache had enabled object caching. I disabled it and the very next member registration went fine.

I am not saying the problem is solved (maybe it is) but I’ll keep an eye on it. Meanwhile, it is worth for you guys to keep an eye on this issue.

I’ll report back if issue continues.

Hello, I am not using w2 Total Cache, but using “Quick Cache.” Is it a similar issue with that plug-in as well??

No we are not aware of any issues with Quick Cache,
as it only implements Page caching, and not object caching.

Ok, good to know about Quick Cache. So any ideas about how I can once and for all stop the error of not automatically upgrading paid customers to Level I Access permissions? I am having to manually edit as people sign up? Please help as I have not found any help on this forum that applies to me?

thanks
