We are just getting our hands around s2Member, and are very excited about it. We have a client that sells training videos. We are looking to have the following type of levels and wanted to get a kickstart direction wise:

Packages by Math Subject (i.e. Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geomtry, etc.)
Clients may have more than one package per login. Payments might be annual or monthly.

These are all going to be videos that are in the packages. So we would have a Member Page, it should list the Subjects that the client has purchased, and when clicked it will then list the videos in their with a playlist for that subject.

Direction? We will continue reading the documentation as well, but though you guys could help us much quicker.

Thanks!

Hello Stephen,

Well, you may be interested in using custom capabilities, in order for one product to not give access to the other product.

In order to list them, I would probably do a little function that loops through the user’s access arrays (s2Member’s arrays) and echoes anything that comes up.

Hope this helps. :)

Hi Stephen.

Right, custom capabilities would be what you need to use. Video » s2Member (Custom Capabilities)

You mention recurring payments, so I thought it important to clarify this: s2Member can do subscriptions, but only one per user, not multiple subscriptions for a single account yet.

You can have a single subscription for a level, and add all the custom capabilities you want to that as long as you sell them as one-time payments.
