I have an existing site on a remote host. I have built a new WP site on the sub-directory public_html/wordpress. I am going to want to migrate the new site to either the root directory or to point the site to the sub-directory invisibly as described at: http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory “Using a pre-existing subdirectory install” In addition, I plan to change my domain name at the same host at the same time and to re-direct previous traffic to the new domain. Currently, I have configured a new subscription-based site in the /wordpress directory utilizing S2MPro. On my first attempt using information at the about URL, essentially everything broke including the S2Member plugin. None of the Level 1 Subscriber plugins were protected and the plugin within Admin was totally different. Could someone help with a list of procedures for making the changes outlined above? |
