Hi, I’m thinking to by this extension but i have a question or a necessity. I need that the same user can have many subscriptions. I have different categories into my web and the users have to pay individually for each one if they want to access it. It is possible? How I can do it? This is fundamental to buy this extencion. Thanks! |

hello Jordi, Have you taken a look at custom capabilities? You can find the documentation under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Custom Capabilities. Also, here is a video about them: Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Jordi, You would simply make a comma separated list of them:
This by default would simply add them, so if the user already has the ccap, he would just add the rest of them. You can also remove all of the user’s ccaps like so:
This should remove all of the user’s ccaps, and then add the ones found here, if I’m not mistaken. Hope this helps. :) |

So, if you bought previously the subscription 4, 30, 50 and i use in the button: ccaps=”ccap1″ CCAA1 is automatically added to the previous subscriptions? |

That is correct. :) It always adds if the user doesn’t already have it. |

Hi Jordi.
You talk about subscription in plural, so I wanted to make this clear: s2Member doesn’t support more than one subscription per account at the moment. |

Hi Cristián, Then it’s impossible for a user to have differents subscriptions? Subscriptions are for life, a single payment, I need that when a user purchases a subscription he can access to this content and contents that he purchased before. I just sent the budget to customer : (. Do you know any plugin that if allowed to do so? Thanks! |

You say a single payment, then it’s not a subscription… Subscriptions are for recurring payments, the single payments would be the buy-now transactions. Buy Nows aren’t a problem. The problem is with recurring payment subscriptions, because if you sell a second one, it’ll replace the first one. |

It’s true, actually they buy courses don’t make subscriptions. The content of any course is only avaliable on-line and they only have access them if they payed . They have one payment for each courses they want. Then, each course needs on Membership Level in consequence every user need buy several Membership Levels without losing access to other courses purchased. You say that This is possible? I hope I explained better this time. Sorry for the inconvenience. |

So are users gonna pay more than 1 time in order to continue to have access to it? Will they pay a subscription in order to continue to have access to that content? If they will only pay 1 time and keep that access forever, then it’s not a subscription (or recurring payment), and then it is possible to have more than 1 at a time. So just answer those questions and you’ll get your answer. :) |

In that case you’d sell them custom capabilities for the separate courses, the level would remain the same, you’d manage access with the custom capabilities only. Please watch this video, it’ll help understand this: Video » s2Member (Custom Capabilities) :) |
