Multisite: diff. names for member levels

In Multisite, is it possible to display a) different numbers of member levels and b) different names for the member levels? For instance, suppose I have a multisite setup with two network sites: A and B. On site A, I want to display levels 0-4 with names Free, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. On site B, I want to display levels 0-6 with names Free, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Master, Instructor, and Staff. Is it possible to do either of these things?
