Hello,

My website won’t recognize the subscribers.

I’m using your plugin S2member (Pro) and I have 2 members levels :
#0 : free subscribers
#1 : subscribers

I don’t use the levels 2-4.

I configured the paypal options (with success).
I used the Paypal Pro forms and I tested with a new subscriber level 1 and thats works. I see this costumer as a subscriber.

I have “all” contents for level “0” and some articles for level “1”

When I tested, I log in as a free member “level 0”, and it’s ok. I have the “Welcome Login page” and I can see all the website. BUT when I’m log gin like a subscriber (level 1), I don’t have any redirection. Instead, I have the Member Option Page for each page I want to visit. I’m not recognized as a subscriber. What can I do ?

I disable the plugins : bbpress, buddy press, buddypresse Template pack, and the Underconstruction plugin to.

Another question : I think I have a Paypal account Business standart, it must be Pro?

Thanks a lot,
Caro (Planete)

Thank you for reporting this important issue.

When I tested, I log in as a free member “level 0″, and it’s ok. I have the “Welcome Login page” and I can see all the website. BUT when I’m log gin like a subscriber (level 1), I don’t have any redirection. Instead, I have the Member Option Page for each page I want to visit. I’m not recognized as a subscriber. What can I do ?

So what you’re saying here is that you have correct access restrictions from s2Member Level 0 , but not s2Member Level 1? Can you try manually creating a User that is Level 1 through your Dashboard and see if the issue persists with that User as well?

If you can access the site’s content with the User you create manually, then it may be an issue with your PayPal setup. Perhaps your Account did not get upgraded after you checked out, or it got deleted? What do you have set up in your Automatic End of Term options?

Another question : I think I have a Paypal account Business standart, it must be Pro?

No, s2Member’s Pro Forms do not require PayPal® Pro to work, but you cannot process credit cards through a Pro Form without PayPal Pro.

See: Pre Sale FAQs » To use s2Member® Pro Forms, will I have to use PayPal® Pro?

Hello Bruce,
Thanks for your answer.

Trying to understand what’s wrong with my website and S2members, yestarday I changed the settings : I just have level O (Free subscribers).

but when I connecting me like a free subscriber I don’t have acces to the level “0” information. instead I’m always redirected to the MEMBERSHIP Option Page.

I saw my general settings and they are ok.

I disabled the plugins : bbpress, buddy press, buddy press template pack, under construction.

I thought before this test that I had the same problem with level “1” (I realize yesterday that home page informations are not protected, then I supposed that when I did my test for level “1” I click on home page contents and I thought I haved acces… :()

Then my question is Why I’m always redirected to the membership Option page when even if I logged as a subscriber (level 0 or level 1) ?

I come back to use buttons instead of pro-forms, but I have a problem :
This is my button :
[s2Member-PayPal-Button level="1" ccaps="" desc="Smartfollower abonné" ps="paypal" lc="" cc="EUR" dg="0" ns="1" custom="www.vertbatim.com" ta="0" tp="0" tt="D" ra="0.01" rp="1" rt="M" rr="1" rrt="" rra="1" image="default" output="button" /]

And this is the message I have :
Period of regular payments incorrectly. You must specify values for the parameters correct A3, P3 and T3 subscription

The strange affaire is that this button works just in firefox and just in one of 4 computers I have tested (How that it’s possible? I’m very surprised about that and what can I do?

Thanks alot for your precious help!
