Hi there – a new member reported they could not login, so I reset IP restrictions and they could login, but now they’re reporting they can’t login again. Is there a more-permanent fix rather than resetting every time they can’t login?

Thanks!
David Portney

Hello David,

I’m afraid there currently isn’t a way. One possible way would be to crank up the limit of IPs. Another solution would be to tell the user to stop accessing it from so many places. If he’s using a mobile device then it will quickly be blocked again, as that never has a single location.

Hope this helps. :)

Hey Eduan, thanks for your reply – I was looking in the system trying to figure out how to crank up the IP limit as you kindly advised, but I’m not seeing where that is, could you please steer me in the right direction?

Thanks!
David

Oh I’m sorry, I forgot to tell you how.

You would crank that up under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Unique IP Access Restrictions.

Hope this helps. :)
