New subscriptions not upgrading account to s2

We’re seeing some issues with some new subscribers are able to create a new account with s2member Pro, their paypal recurring payment profile is created but their wordpress user account is not upgraded to s2member level and creates a subscriber level account for them. It happens about 3 or 4 times a week. They then proceed to email me and I go in and manually upgrade their account to s2 level and switch their Paid subscriber gateway to paypal and input their paid subscriber ID.

Any idea what could be causing this issue and how to resolve it. It appears to only be happening to a few sign ups and not all of them.

I don’t know why it could be happening. Would like to see your logs.
