Hi,

I have s2member installed on a multi-domain network (but I actually only need it on one site). Unfortunately I cant manage to get the member registration working. If I activate s2member for the whole network, I can’t access wp-login.php?action=register (I get redirected to wp-login.php). If I activate it only for the sub-site I can access the page directly but not after paypal checkout (also redirect to the login page). Also I don’t get a email from s2member about my purchase (wich works fine for specific post/page).

For any ideas I would be really glad!

Hello Solander,

Regarding not being able to access the registration page, what are your settings under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Open Registration?

Hi Eduan,

I tired it with both Yes and No. However I found the workaround with open registration and upgrade to level x wich works fine for me.

Edit: I see it might be a problem of my network, cause when I go to domain.tld/wp-login.php?action=register I get the same redirect problem. Only when I use the URL provided in the backend main-domain.tld/sub-domain/?wp-login.php?action=register it works fine. It seems there is a redirect from the domain.tld to main-domain.tld/sub-domain/ and in this process it loses the ?action=register. If you’ve got any suggestions on that I would be glad, but I thinks it is more a question of the Domain Mapping Plugin.

Thanks

It’s either a problem with the Domain Mapping plugin or for some reason your WordPress installs have their URLs mixed up.

In any case, glad you found the cause of the problem. :)
