hi guys, I am wondering whether I should put a ‘nofollow’ in links pointing to ClickBank payment gateway . the link looks something like this [s2Member-Pro-ClickBank-Button cbp="4" sp="1" ids="188" exp="2" desc="XXXXX" custom="XXXX" image="XXXXX" output="anchor" /] thanks for your advice!

Thank you for your inquiry. I’m very sorry for the delay in response. You may choose to add a nofollow to your link, but it’s not necessary. A search engine checking a ClickBank checkout page won’t cause any problems for you, I think.

Great, thank you for your response. Say I wanted to insert the ‘no-follow’ where exactly would it need to go in the link above? Appreciate your help! When you create the link, you’d create an HTML anchor tag with the shortcode’s output as the href value. Then you can use the rel attribute to make the link nofollow as you see here: http://www.w3schools.com/TAGS/att_a_rel.asp
