Old WP Membership Softwa & JVZoo IPN Question

Hi I wonder if I could get a little help Im going slightly mad :)

I setup my membership site originally using WP membership champ using JVZoo.com as the payment processor

We I upgraded to s2member pro due to the features the thing is JVZoo will continue to bill these members witch is fine and any that dont pay or cancel there payment in PayPal I will just delete manually.

But I want to accept new members using s2member pro and paypal can I just change the IPN as I switched of the old wp membership software and got this email from paypal

“Thank you for contacting PayPal regarding testing your IPN settings.
Mr. Kelly I have reviewed your account and it shows that you have entered an IPN of http://www.jvzoo.com/ipn.php?uid=10509.
So as long as this is where your IPN listener is set up it should be fine. The only way that a live IPN could be tested would be by making a payment to your account and seeing if it is operating correctly.”

I don’t have experience with JVzoo, but I know that their developer worked on integrating their service with s2Member. I don’t know what requirements they have to make it work, so I suggest that you contact them and ask how you should set up your account there and s2Member so they work together.

About the older account you had, you can try adding the user’s subscr. ID with PayPal to their WP profile, you’ll find a field for it added by s2Member. Also enter “paypal” as the gateway. I was wanting to stop using JVZoo on the site and the members that now signup go through the s2member cart using PayPal

What I was wanting to know is would this affect current subscribers ?

Ah, no, that wouldn’t affect existing subscriptions. :)
