Yesterday I had to cancel a membership and have the member re-register due to her recurring payment not going through. I manually canceled her recurring payment and she went through the registration process again while I was on the phone with her. After the process was completed we discovered she was charged four times and assigned four different ID#’s in PayPal although she only registered once. When I contacted PayPal they said she had registered four times. I told them she had only registered once, but they would not even consider this could be their issue. I wound up canceling the extra memberships and refunding all the charges not associated with the correct ID#, but I am curious as to why this happened and wanted to see if anyone else had this issue. 1. Is it possible for a member to register and s2member create multiple charges? Any feedback will be welcomed! |
