Pages Not Being Protected

Hello,

I’ve protected 2 pages on my site and have it set under both general options & on the page itself to be accessed only by level 1 users.

I’ve found out that it doesn’t work at all (non subscribers & level 0) can still see them. However, if I set it to required level user 2 access, then it works to prevent non subscribers, level users 0 & 1 from seeing the page. I haven’t tested it to see if it actually allows level 2 users to view the content, but I’m sure that won’t be a problem.

Is this normal? Do I have to use the ccap codes? Or do I just skip level 1 & change it to level 2?
