Paid membership but content remains public

Hello!

I’m excited I ran across this plugin. I have a question to see if this plugin will fit my project.

I need members to pay to join but all activity, community and profiles to remain public. Basically all I need is the members to pay and the site to remain open. I will also like members to be able to customize profiles. I also like to popup login or signup option as seen on the “Mingle” WordPress template in which I’m using.

I’m using this plug with BuddyPress and the mingle theme.

What plugin will best fit my project? The paid version or the free version?

I’m on a tight deadline with this project so a prompt reply will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Fred, thanks for your inquiry.

You mean that they are able to pay if they wish? If so this is possible, also possible with the free version of s2Member.

Simply don’t protect any of the content, but do create a button that will allow them to buy paid access.

As long as users are a member in your website, they will be able to customize their profile, you might be interested in deactivating the option under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Member Profile Modifications, and instead using the option under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Member Profile Modifications.
