Thank you for your inquiry.

s2Member does not password-protect any content. s2Member restricts access to content based on the priviledges/capabilities a User has. That said, s2Member is capable of protecting Categories with Membership Levels:

Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Category Access Restrictions
