Hi, we are using your great Pro version, however it is for a user signing up to use our online stats system, the problem we have is that we need the user to use the same username & password as signed up with through s2member signup in our online & iOS application, however we need to be able to pass the same password they are setting themselves when signing up through our our online data base system, how can this be done as the password is hashed with MD5. We cannot ask them to reset it setup a new password when trying to login to the system, the whole reason for them signing up?

please advise, how we can get this password passed through to our tables or data base? Thanks

Thank you for your inquiry.

If you’d like to send a User’s password to another application on signup, I’d recommend using s2Member’s API Notifications (specifically, Signup Notifications).

See: Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Notifications -› Signup Notifications

Here you can set s2Member up to send your other application your user’s details when they sign up, such as First and Last Name, and Username and Passsword. This data is passed through special replacement codes available in this section.
