After the recent up-date I have an error on load (it may not be fair to link this to the up-date but it is certainly at that time). I have a core js script that I cannot see loading and various tools give me not_found?ver=3.5.2
/FLWP this then translates to http://fernleafconsulting.co.uk/FLWP/wp-admin/js/password-strength-meter.min.js?ver=3.5.2 this seems to be linked with

{

       "time": 747,

         "httpVersion": "HTTP/1.1",
         "headers": [

in the HAR output from Chrome. As you will see the file exists and is easily found in the browser.

The debugger information is wp_register_style was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or init.

I have read the post http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/removing-the-password-strength-meter-min-js/ and tried to adopt the solution(s) there but to no avail.

Have you any thoughts on the subject? It is about half the load time of my site and its got enough to load as it is.

I have read the post http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/removing-the-password-strength-meter-min-js/ and tried to adopt the solution(s) there but to no avail.

You could ask that user about the customization he wrote for this, and see if he’s had to update it to work with the new WP 3.5.2 release.

I have a core js script that I cannot see loading and various tools give me not_found?ver=3.5.2

http://fernleafconsulting.co.uk/FLWP/wp-admin/js/password-strength-meter.min.js is returning a 404. This is a WP file, not s2Member. Check that you have it. If it’s missing, then the update may have missed it for some reason, you’ll need to upload it, but also make sure no other file is missing.

I hope that helps. :)

Thanks for looking I will ask the user as suggested.

Interestingly if I click the link above for the script it returns the script not a 404. Thats worth pursuing I think.

Yeah, it’s worth looking into. I just tried again and still get a 404, the same may be true for your customer.
