Hello,

I just installed S2Member and I’m a bit lost. I watched several videos and searched and read many questions on the forum but I’ve not been able to find a solution to my problem.

The installation went fine, I have been able to subscribe to my own membership site so I have already my first member :-)

I have created several videos with Camtasia. I want to give access to my members, I really don’t want to have to pay anything extra like a video player or S3 hosting nor have to configured something extra. I frsrt want to try to host them myself from my web hosting account. As these are Flash videos, I have a few files and a HTML file with some code, like this:

                <!--

                <!--

        <!-- Users looking for simple object / embed tags can copy and paste the needed tags below.

        -->

What I want to do is to create a post with the code above (I removed a part here, it was already long enough). I tried but all I see on my screen as a member is a black rectangle instead of the video.
I have uploaded all the files created with Camtasia in the folder s2member-files.
Now I’m not sure how should be the path. For example in the code above there are several times this:
src=”MyVideo_controller.swf”
I tried different paths but the result is always the same, only appears the black rectangle.
I tried to add in front of the .swf file, /wp-content/plugins/s2member-files/foldername/
so it gives something like: src=”/wp-content/plugins/s2member-files/MyVideo/MyVideo_controller.swf”
I tried only starting from /s2member-files/…
Well, I tried different combinations but nothing seem to work.

I would be very happy if sombeody could give me the good answer.

Thank you in advance for your help.

David
