Hi,

I have been trying out s2member the last couple of days and I am super impressed. This plugin is the Batman of plugins. The Youtube tutorials at the JasonWSInc channel have been a great help.

I have a question though and I can not seem to find the answer.

Let’s say I have a page. This page contains a video for my paying members and contains a short text description of the topics covered in the video. http://www.mydomain.com/videotutorial

I would like for http://www.mydomain.com/videotutorial to be accessible for free members, I would like them to see the text desctiption, but I would not like them to see the video. Instead of the video, I’d like to place a graphic saying that a payed membership is needed.

So, I want to block contents for certain membership levels, but not block the pages containing the content.

Is this possible?

Thank you very much in advance.

Hello James,

Basically you want to show different content depending on the user’s access correct?

You can achieve this using s2Member’s conditionals, you can read about them in this article:
Knowledge Base » Simple Shortcode Conditionals

Hi James.

Thanks for the kudos! :)

Eduán is correct. You can use conditionals for this. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Simple/Shortcode Conditionals[/hilite]
