Hi everybody

I got this mail from Paypal… Can anyone please tell me how to react? Thank you very much.

Dear Ivan Fræer,

We have extended our deadline to the end of April. This is a final reminder.

As a user of PayPal Access, we want to inform you that we will be changing to a new endpoint at the end of April. PayPal is converging two different protocols (OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect1.0) into a single protocol which will be supported through a single endpoint. This change is necessary to prevent any interruption when users log in to PayPal.

The new endpoints continue to be available for testing. The old endpoints will not be accessible after 30 April 2013. We encourage you to make the necessary changes before that time.

What’s changing?

Endpoint type Authorization endpoint
Old https://identity.x.com/xidentity/resources/authorize
New https://www.paypal.com/webapps/auth/protocol/openidconnect/v1/authorize
Endpoint type Token Service endpoint
Old https://identity.x.com/xidentity/oauthtokenservice
New https://www.paypal.com/webapps/auth/protocol/openidconnect/v1/tokenservice
Endpoint type User profile endpoint
Old https://identity.x.com/xidentity/resources/profile/me
New https://www.paypal.com/webapps/auth/protocol/openidconnect/v1/userinfo

For additional information on these changes, please visit this blog.

You are a valuable customer and we look forward to continuing to serve you. If you have any questions, please contact PayPal Merchant Technical Services by filing a ticket and refer to PP-LIVE-3035.

Sincerely,

PayPal
