Hi everyone.
I’m having some serious troubles here.
We have a website with a webstore and we use s2member v.120309
But not long ago it became impossible to perform a checkout!! Embarassing.

“Error. Please contact Support for assistance.”
Not self-explaining.

While searching I found that Paypal uses now a tool called PayFlow. So I think maybe s2member is not yet compatible.
So I try to update s2member but whenever I try to update the form used for the checkout is destoyed. And only a glimpse of code is displayed.

What shall I do now? Thanks in advance.

Hello Stef,

First off, make sure the latest version of s2Member is installed (v120622).

Then, if the problem still remains, then I would try making a theme compatibility test, and a plugin compatibility test, for the theme just change back to the default theme (TwentyEleven), and see if that works. For the plugin test simply disable every plugin except s2Member, and see if the problem still remains, if it doesn’t, then reactivate each plugin one by one until the problem appears again.

Also, do you have logging enabled? If not, could you please activate it under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details -› Logging.

Then try doing another purchase and please paste the logs (IPN and RPN logs I believe), inside the code tags.

Hope this helps. :)

Hi Eduan,

Thanks for your answer.
Unfortunately it does not solve my problem.

I installed the last version of s2members. I don’t have the error anymore but now the form itself does not appear.
The s2member shortcode is not interpreted.
The code for the [s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form...] is just displayed on my page.

-I tried to desabled every plugin one by one then reactivate them-> nothing change
-I tried to use the default theme -> no changes too
-The Paypal logging option is On

My question is now : Why does the s2member code is not interpreted?

We’re almost there…
And also I remember having a Paypal-Pro or s2member-Pro section in the configuration panel. But now I only have Paypal Options & Paypal Buttons. Is it normal?

Thanks in advance

Hi everyone,

I just realised that my s2member-pro folder was missing in my website source (after the update?)
With my backup I was able to but it back but now I have to update it. But I can’t log in to s2member.
(The webmaster in on vacation and I think he gave me the wrong credentials…)

Anyway the update might solve the problem. I hope so.
I try and then I come back…

Hello Stef,

I see, well, when you have the chance, install it again, and see if the problem still remains. :)

Hi. It’s me again.

Unfortunately installing update didn’t solve the problem (-_-)
I also post a new topic on the s2member forum : here

I still got that error coming from I don’t know where…
Each time I click checkout: “Error. Please contact support for assistance”.

If somebody got an idea it is welcome.
