In a bulletin dated October 18, 2011, Paypal announced that they will discontinue support for the HTTP 1.0 protocol starting February 1, 2013 and this change could impact the ability of merchants to perform IPN validation. Does this affect how our site will be notified of a sale with S2Member/PayPal? Thanks!

David

Thanks for your inquiry. ~ We appreciate your patience :-)

This deadline was extended again just recently.

To answer your question… No. I don’t believe this will impact s2Member® or s2Member® Pro, because we already use the HTTP/1.1 protocol in all remote URL communication.
