PayPal Pro incompatible with DRP, PayFlow?

Thanks for the great plugin! We’re using s2MemberPro for PayPal recurring payments and it’s been working great with the PayPal button, we have numerous subscribers. However, we want to do payments directly and when we try the ProForms we get the dreaded “Error #11586. DPRP is disabled”.

We already have Pro + Recurring payments (setup before 2012) and tried to add DRP, but PayPal Support said our account was “not compatible” and we would need to upgrade to PayFlow for an extra $10/month. However your documentation (http://www.s2member.com/kb/paypal-account-types/) advises against that.

I am bit confused since it also says it SHOULD work with regular Pro even when not the PayFlow edition (pre-2012 setup). I’m a bit concerned and confused if we should upgrade, then – don’t want to break our current system as we already have numerous subscribers. Can you advise on this?

(As a side note, we also use the same PayPal Pro for our webstore and that works perfectly fine with one-time purchases through our own website)
