Paypal Pro has given us one too many headaches and it’s time to switch over to Authorize.net. Our customers are mostly recurring, with a few one-times, and besides having the whole “skipped payments” issue for the past month, we’ve also recently had new customer accounts being created and then immediately cancelled by Paypal, even after updating S2member software and spending the /entire/ day on the phone with Paypal. Ugh.

So is there a tutorial for switching over to Authorize.net? We’ve set everything up in the Authorize.net options, just not quite sure of the next step. Guidance? Thoughts? Video tutorials for beginners? Thanks Nichole

No I’m afraid we don’t have a video tutorial for Authorize.Net currently. The integration is pretty straightforward, though. However you’re going to have to cancel all of your current subscriptions in PayPal to move over to Authorize.Net. I’d recommending setting up your Authorize.Net options, and leaving your PayPal integration up for your current subscriptions if they are working correctly. You can run both of them simultaneously.

You can turn on Authorize.Net here: Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Other Gateways

See: Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Authorize.Net® Options -› Account Details
