I’m getting the dreaded Plugin Directory Checksum error when I do a server scan – and I can’t find relevant answers on this forum.

Using FileZilla (configured correctly with my External IP) I deleted s2Member Pro.
Next, I deactivated s2Member Framework, then deleted it (within WP) before using WP to reinstall s2Member.

Next I used FileZilla to upload the latest version of s2Member Pro.

On re-scan, I got the same error, so I deactivated all plugins except s2Member and scanned again (same error).

Removed the CSS file for my Child Theme – (same error).

Deactivated the child theme and activated TwentyTwelve theme – (same error).

I give up – how can I get rid of this Server Scan Error – and does it matter?
What is the likely result of this Plugin Directory Checksum error?
Andy

Could you download the latest version of s2Member pro again? I believe the checksum error is an error that happens during the download. Could you try again? Thanks. :)
