Hello,

I am having many issues with getting s2member [Pro] to work properly.

I have set everything up as per the video tutorials, mainly all the paypal information is as it should be.

I have a free business PayPal account – verified.

I would like the s2member [Pro] installation to have one subscription button [which I have created] and for it to take the potential customer to the Website Payments Standard site, where he or she could input their credit card info or PayPal account info.

What I get so far is paypals website, which asks me to login, but no credit card info fields. Furthermore, no matter what account I use, which credit card etc. I get an error stating I should use a different credit card, while I am sure that my credit card is not only valid, but it had been used today to buy an item via PayPal. This is of course another account, not the one associated with my website. I have also tested this with another PP account to no resolution.

I “assume” that the issue is with the newly created paypal business account [verified, etc.]. Is there any way to find out, has anyone experienced this? I have gone through the support forum and the same issues that I have found, their resolutions have not helped my case. I have gone through the PP support forum and their answer is: “Get a new credit card”.

I see. Well, this is something happening on PayPal’s side, so you should talk with their support people to help you find out what’s going on there. I’m sorry I can’t help with that…

If you’re selling a subscription, the customer will be required to login to a PayPal account, but if you sell a buy-now then you can have the option to pay with a card without logging in to PayPal (make sure you have enabled the setting in PayPal that lets you not require the customer to have a PayPal account).
