Pro version for SCHOOL

Can you please tell me if S2Member would offer the following, then how best would we set up for this:

1) Large elementary school with 250 students

2) Provide a parent portal, using s2member, so a parent can retrieve only his-her childs information (report cards, documents, etc.)

3) Only have a Parent Portal – once log in takes them to their childs info

4) Each parent can register online – or we provide user access from the office

Please advise in details how best S2Member can work with this scenario.

s2Member does not make this all possible, as there is no portal or ability to pull specific information outside of the normal WordPress data and registration fields through Shortcodes. That being said, you can have your Users sign up with s2Member and manage your content that way, then have a developer set up the other parts of your site, such as the display of information such as report cards, etc..

Yes, this is exactly what I thought. S2Member is unable to achieve these results.

Instead, we are leaning towards a School Management System; although I know from personal experience S2Member is awesome. From what I can tell it will block pages per membership levels, etc.

Yeah if there is a school management system available, then that would probably do better with what you’re wanting. s2Member is meant for eCommerce more than this kind of thing.
