Hi,

1. If I login as an s3 member, I am taken to http://cleeveracing.com/full-members/ with the post ‘Sat 14th July’ displayed, with the sidebar showing ‘recent selections’ which is correct.

2. If I then click onthe link ‘Friday 13th July it takes me to http://cleeveracing.com/members/?_s2member_seeking%5Btype%5D=post&_s2member_seeking%5Bpost%5D=2468&_s2member_seeking%5B_uri%5D=LzIwMTIvMDcvZnJpZGF5LTEzdGgtanVseS0yMDEyLw%3D%3D&_s2member_req%5Btype%5D=level&_s2member_req%5Blevel%5D=4&_s2member_res%5Btype%5D=catg&s2member_seeking=post-2468&s2member_level_req=4

both posts have access restricted to s3 and above….

why in point 2 is the parameter ‘s2member_level_req=4’ part of the error URL?

thanks
Nick

Hi Nick,

There is a category restriction set to allow only Level 4 users to access that category, and the post you’re trying to access (Friday 13th July) is assigned to that category.

Many thanks for that Raam…

Hi Nick,

You should check Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Category Access Restrictions. Look in the Level 4 box for a category restriction.

Hi Nick,

That URL says:

Type = Page (_s2member_seeking%5Btype%5D=page)

Page ID = 801 (&_s2member_seeking%5Bpage%5D=801)

Page URI = L2Z1bGwtbWVtYmVycy8 (&_s2member_seeking%5B_uri%5D=L2Z1bGwtbWVtYmVycy8%3D)

Required Type = Level (&_s2member_req%5Btype%5D=level)

Required Level = 3 (&_s2member_req%5Blevel%5D=3)

Restriction Type = Page (&_s2member_res%5Btype%5D=page)

Trying to Access = page-801 (&s2member_seeking=page-801)

Level Required = 3 (&s2member_level_req=3)

So, you said Level 2 members should be able to access that page, however something in your s2Member Restrictions configuration (judging by the info above, it’s in the Page Restrictions for Level 3) is restricting that page to Level 3, not Level 2.
